SOLID Principles
Topics: Design Pattern
SOLID is a set of five object-oriented class-design principles discussed by Robert C. Martin in Principles of OOD.
There are five SOLID principles:
- Single Responsibility Principle
- Open-Closed Principle
- Liskov Substitution Principle
- Interface Segregation Principle
- Dependency Inversion Principle
Martin categorises them as principles of class design. They’re intended to make software designs more understandable, flexible and maintainable.
