Add an app to run automatically at Windows startup

Windows can launch an app automatically when its shortcut is placed in the startup folder.

This procedure adds an app to the Windows startup folder:

1. Right-click the app on the Start menu, choose “More” and “Open file location”.
2. Open the startup folder by pressing Win+R and entering shell:startup.
3. Copy and paste the application shortcut into the startup folder.
